You know what I find really annoying?
When you spend 45 minutes driving to a major store, to spend $70.00 on a new electric, non stick, metal utensil safe wok, which the salesgirl spends at least 20 minutes out the back looking for, only to drive home, get it out of the box only to find the inside surface to be all scratched up.
Now I have to drive back there to replace it.
Annoying.
In other driving news, the quest to achieve Lizzie's 120 hours of learner driving continues. Today she is going to drive me to McDonalds for lunch. In the next town over, which will add a couple of hours to the tally.
Unfortunately it is in the opposite direction to the wok shop.
I think Lizzie must drive you to the Wok shop…is there not a McDonalds there too? they seem to be all over….unfortunately.
lol, yes there is one near there but we go on that wok shop road all the time and I can't face it again today without going mad, I know every bump on it – and she's never been this other way before so good to get experience on all roads I reckon – wok shop on Saturday – oh thats tomorrow, where did that week go!!
Wow, I guess this is what I have to look forward to with two 15 year olds getting their permits either Friday or Tuesday. I would be so mad about the Wok. That is ridiculous. They should give you a huge discount!!
UGH!Make sure the next one is perfect!
Two! thats going to be some work. It used to be 50 hours driving that they had to do here but now its 100 daylight hours and 20 night time.
definitely – will be inspecting it carefully, it was only when I got this one out under the kitchen lights that I saw the scratches, and then you could feel them easy enough – and once that non stick finish gets scratched its the beginning of the end really
Yes, I think that would go far in ruining one's day.
Especially when I was planning a laksa for dinner that night
They have to do 40 hours each, and I cannot remember how much of that is night driving. We tried to meet them on our way home today and we were too late and the office would not let our girls take the test. Boo. They will probably have to wait until Tuesday now.
40 hours doesn't seem much – we've done about 70 so far and I still wouldn't want her out on the roads on her own! lol, but then again its hard to think about them out on the roads even when they've been driving for years
