Torah Bright

Go you good thing.

Could have done without all the heart stopping moments though.

Seriously, is there any sport Australians are not good at 🙂

Hmmm, thinking hard.

Nope.

Must say though it was a pity she had to wear those awful yellow pants. Looked like a council worker. USA definitely win first place for their outfits. Flanno's and jeans. Liked it.

Pity they came second and third on the podium though.

To an aussie.

And if you happen to be Australian and don't know Torah Bright.

Shame. Shame. Shame.

And if you happen to come from somwhere else and don't know what a flanno is, its a flanelette shirt. See I don't even know how to spell it because I've only ever known it as a flanno.

Maybe she was just wearing an homage to Australians' general congeniality and good nature?Board girlz rawk 🙂

lol, well that doesn't sound much like our council workers – I don't know why we wear the awful green and gold, it looks like a catholic school uniform. Yellow is such a hard colour to wear once you get past the age of 5.
those girls are pretty awesome – guys are ok to

She was wonderful! I love her natural smile! and her style and she really deserved that medal! Congrats Aussies! I actually liked her "outfit" much better than the Americans…

  4. I watched the snowboarders last night. Torah had a great run and she was the best of the girls. After watching the boys the other night I was disappointed in the girls but she did a flip when so few of the other girls did. She deserved her gold.
The Amercians had a cool outfit but I thought Torah looked more real. I was poking fun at the Americans for wearing too much make up while doing a sport. I have never felt the urge to wear make up while on the slopes. (Lindsay Vaughn had her eyes smeared when she won downhill skiing tho she did good!) They also make a riduculous show at times which reminds me of the attitudes I deal with when I go skiing.

What a great run that was — and to have to turn around and do it so soon after her fall in her first run. Talk about performance under pressure. No one could touch her!

  6. I really enjoyed the snowboarding events – Torah was the best though!Shame about the British contingent but never mind…Benwww.thismorningcall.com

She was fantastic – the american girls had me worried for a while!

  8. cat Says:

Oh yes, I could hardly watch it. So nerve wracking. She can perform under pressure thats for sure

  9. cat Says:

lol – I thought the girls looked like they were having more fun than the guys, they all look like they get along really well and when one of them fell they just laughed it off and didn't have a biig sook – seem like good sports

lol, you're mad! those pants were awful
