What's the most complicated part of your life right now?

Living in one room of the house with four other people while the floors get done. With one King size bed in it.

I was laying in bed the other night and Lloyd was sitting on the bed playing X Box and Daz was sitting on the lounge playing Playstation on another tv and I said – thank god we never went on a family caravan holiday.

So I've kicked Daz out to live with Kimba and Lloyd has gone to live with Jem and Lizzie and I can live quite happily together in one room.

Chicken Little Update.

Yesterday Miss Little had a naughty day. She fished a used tampon out of the bin for closer examination, she was caught licking Kimba's retainer, and she ran away.

She ran away while Daz was walking her. He said she slipped the harness and bolted. And he said she kept looking back at him then running away faster. He said the only way he caught her was to yell out to a girl up ahead in her front yard to call Chicken (because she loves meeting people). So the girl helped Daz catch Chicken, then the girl remarked to Daz that his face was an alarming shade of purple.

Chicken has been fitted for a smaller harness.

Daz thinks he now knows how Chicken Little may have ended up lost and at the pound.

Ah yes, the joys of little dogs. Ours got out once and ran across the road under a car when we chased him. Luckily all that went under the wheels was the tip of his tail which cost a hundred bucks to have the vets cut off. It was worth it, though, as we certainly got more than a hundred bucks worth out that little feller. We had him for fourteen years, and still miss him.Does the floor stain stink much?

  2. The part about the used tampon made me burst out laughing, though it probably wasn't fun to find the mess. Hope she doesn't develop a taste for this sort of thing!

  3. Waterbaby Says:

uh oh. glad she was saved from her own doggie recklessness. this time. still, uh oh. i'd be looking to enroll in obedience school. with and for the dog i mean.

  4. cat Says:

yes – they are looking into that today! But I think she is very high spirited.

  5. cat Says:

lol – hope not. They were disgusted with her and she was banished outdoors for a while. But it did make them have a huge clean up of the house.

  6. poptart Says:

It is a pain for now but it will be so nice when you're done with the painting. It is amazing what fresh paint can do.Little miss is a pill!

  7. cat Says:

I'm sitting here with toilet paper stuck in my ears listening to the constant sound of five hammers bashing the floor. Which is apparently one of the hardest floors ever built. Sure sounds like it.
Yes and she looks so sweet and innocent sitting there. Hope they get as many good years out of her as you did your little fella.

  8. cat Says:

Yes, but once you put on fresh paint then everything else looks shabby – curtains, floors, furniture. The next house I buy is going to need no renovations I've decided.
Little miss sure is a pill.

  9. Waterbaby Says:

may well be. all the more reason to get to obed. school. it's critical that her owner be strict, firm and consistent with the dog. so many people bow out, wimp out, overspoil and/or lack carry-through. this is where most people fail.

  10. cat Says:

yeah – like with their kids!

  11. Waterbaby Says:

yup. i think people should raise an animal (i.e., dog, not a turtle) together before having a child. sooo illuminating. would cut the divorce rate too.

  12. lauowolf Says:

Clearly a pup who thinks she is much smarter than the lot of you.Shows in the picture too.Very busy little brain in there.

  13. cat Says:

For sure – they said she never sits still. And even if she's asleep as soon as someone leaves the room she follows them.

  14. Waterbaby Says:

some breeds do have that nature, i.e., aust. cattle dogs (aka velcro dogs); she's prob'ly going through separation anxiety.

  15. Karen Lynn Says:

Oh gosh, I've been in the same situation, where the dog is running away, looking back and looking like they are saying "neener neener neener, you can't catch me". So scary. But she sure is cute!

  16. cat Says:

    little brats aren't they

  17. Karen Lynn Says:

    quick little brats!
